INTRODUCTION & PROPERTIES

• BUTYL TAPE is a self-adhesive tape made from Butyl compound.

·         It is Black / white / Grey / brown in color, 100% solid, permanently flexible, pressure-sensitive, non-oxidizing, non-toxic, non-injurious, non-irritation, and non-pollutant.

·         Adhesive: It is an excellent self adhesive to most clean, dry, oil and dust free surfaces of aluminum, copper, porcelain, glass, wood, zinc, porcelain, concrete, paper, plywood, asbestos etc.

• Resistant: BUTYL TAPE is excellent Resistant to Water, Air, Moisture, Heat, Cold, Dust, Sound, UV Rays, Sun light, Mild Chemicals etc. It can be used under any temperature conditions from - 50°C to    + 160 °C.
• Anti-Corrosive:  BUTYL TAPE prevents surfaces to corrode from moisture, steam, heat, Cold, Sun light etc.
• UV Resistant: BUTYL TAPE is an excellent resistant against UV rays and it does not loose its characteristics when exposed to direct sunlight.
• Vibration Damper: BUTYL TAPE reduces vibrations in capillaries etc. 
• Excellent Dielectric Insulator.
• Easy Application: It can be applied on any surface with great ease.

·         Durability: Excellent, does not crack or lose adhesion.

BASIC USES & APPLICATIONS

• In Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, Automobile Industry etc.
• In Joint Sealing, Water Proofing, Sound Proofing Ducting etc.
• To prevent corrosion of exposed and underground objects like Tanks, Pipes, Joints etc.
• Dielectric Insulation: For insulation and protection of low voltage connectors above ground, in hand holes, or buried.

·         In view of its excellent water resistance and its ability to withstand all weather conditions it provides a permanent, flexible and watertight seal in the critical areas of construction like Roof tile installations, Pipe flashing, Skylight installations, Gutters, roof valleys, chimneys, Rooftop duct systems, Window installations, Door installations, siding, masonry joints, marine use on hulls above the waterline and many other similar surfaces where it is desirable to seal out air, moisture, dust, dirt, insects, and noise.

• Butyl Tape is produced in many different sizes, thickness & colors to fit all application requirements.
• Thickness : From 0.5 mm to 10.00 mm as per your requirement
• Width : From 2.00 mm to 600.00 mm as per your requirement.

·         Length : In Rolls upto 50 Meters or in cut pieces as per your requirement.

·         Colour : Black, white, Grey and Brown.
